Day Camps
At Lakeview, our horse camps are all about fun, learning, and building confidence. Whether it’s summer break, a school holiday, or a special themed session, our camps give kids the chance to connect with horses in a safe and encouraging environment.
What Camps Include
Daily horse time: grooming, feeding, and hands-on horsemanship
Riding time
Fun activities like arts & crafts, games, and team challenges
Lessons in safety, responsibility, and confidence-building around horses
Time outdoors with friends on our beautiful lakeside property
All camps are led by a PATH Intl. certified instructor, with additional trained helpers to ensure a supportive experience for every child. Camps are kept to limited numbers, maintaining a small adult-to-child ratio for safety, attention, and personalized instruction.
Our camps are perfect for beginners as well as kids with riding experience. Each camp is designed to give participants lasting memories, new skills, and a deeper appreciation for horses.

Cowboys & Cowgirls Camp is a returning favorite where young riders saddle up to learn the basics of riding and horsemanship while building confidence in a fun, encouraging environment. Campers enjoy daily horse time with grooming, tacking, and riding, western games and obstacle challenges, horse-themed crafts, and a special riding showcase for parents on the final day!

The ART OF HORSEMANSHIP CAMP
Ages 8-10: July 20-22 ***FULL***Ages 11-13: June 22-24Art of Horsemanship Camp is a unique experience that blends hands-on horsemanship with creative expression for campers who love both horses and art. Campers enjoy riding and groundwork alongside western-inspired art projects like live horse sketching, journaling, and sculpting, ending the week with a special gallery for families.

Horsemanship 101 Camp is perfect for horse-crazy kids who want to dive into the world of horses through hands-on groundwork and horsemanship. Campers will work with their own “care horse” while learning horse care, handling, foundational training skills, and what it truly takes to keep horses healthy and happy. Along the way they’ll explore topics like nutrition, vet care, horse history, and careers in the horse world, finishing the week by presenting what they’ve learned to their families.
