Roulette is one of those horses that once you see him, you never forget him! His striking leopard Appaloosa coat, with its unique pattern of bold dark spots across a light body, makes him stand out anywhere he goes. Appaloosas are one of the oldest and most recognizable breeds in American history, known for their versatility, endurance, and loyal nature. With roots tracing back to the Nez Perce people, these horses have long been admired for both their beauty and their heart.

Roulette has a quiet, gentle presence that immediately puts people at ease. He is naturally slow, steady, and thoughtful in everything he does, making him a wonderful partner both on the ground and under saddle. He absolutely loves trail rides and is incredibly brave, happily exploring new places with calm confidence. In our lesson program, he is a steady and reliable teacher, teaching our students patience and independence in the saddle.

What truly sets Roulette apart is his sweet and caring personality. He forms genuine connections with the people around him and has a way of making everyone feel safe and seen. He loves to be around people, and waits at the gate every afternoon for lessons to start. He loves to be brushed before and after his rides, and is known to take many naps while he works… He truly loves his job and the people around him.

As one of the newest additions to our program, Roulette has quickly become a favorite. Whether he’s gently carrying a rider, exploring the trails, or simply standing quietly beside someone who needs him, he brings a sense of calm and comfort wherever he goes. We absolutely adore him, and it’s easy to see why everyone who meets him does too!
